Do I need a referral?
No. You do not need a referral to be treated by a physical therapist. This is known as "direct access" and it saves time and money for you and the primary care physician. However, a few insurances will not reimburse unless they receive a written physician order. This includes Medicare plans.

Therapy To Go PLLC is a Medicare B provider and accepts commercial insurance "in network" and "out of network" benefits for different plans. We do not accept Medicaid.
Insurance Out of Network Benefits
Therapy To Go PLLC is able to utilize out-of-network (OON) insurance benefits with several companies. OON means the therapist has not signed a contract with the insurance. In the therapy world, OON has benefits for patients. OON prevents the insurance company from dictating the patient's care, restricting the number of visits, or denying the therapy you need.
Some patients prefer to submit their own OON claims and enjoy getting a check for reimbursement. Therapy To Go PLLC makes this easy. Pay us at your appointment and the receipt is sent to our billing partner, www.reimbursify.com. There is even a Reimbursify app you can download to your phone!
Cash Pay Rates
Cash pay is very popular. Why? Many deductibles are $3,000 - 6,000 for the year. Seeing a therapist one-on-one for once a week instead of 2-3x a week at over loaded clinics actually saves you money. Research shows more rapid recovery and success when patients are seen one-on-one by a physical therapist.
Cash pay eliminates restrictions on the care you can receive. Get as much or as little therapy as you need. It's that simple!

Rider Boot Camps
Sessions for the equestrian athlete! Dr. Collins will come to your barn and assess your flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. This will include watching you ride and collaborating with your instructor and horse trainer as applicable. Sessions may be individual or group.

What happens first?
The first appointment will be your PT examination. This includes a review of health symptoms, pain levels, muscle testing, postural and spinal assessments, balance, mobility, gait, performance assessments, and your personal goals. The therapist will recommend a course of treatment based on these findings.
